Welcome to Maylandsea Bay Sailing Club
At Maylandsea Bay S.C. we have our established dinghy, keelboat and cadet racing fleets along with our cruiser section and a vast array of kayaks, windsurfers and paddleboards. We can offer sail training, using our club owned Picos and Wayfarers or you could look to crew with one of our experienced sailors who are always looking for new crews, that is how most of our experienced sailors learnt to sail (many years ago for some). When you start out, if you dont have the right attire, we have a large selection of pre-loved sailing gear to keep you warm and dry.
The club offers Bar, Galley and Changing rooms for all of the activities, including Open Water Swimming.
Have a look at the programme on the website to find out when the activity at the club takes place and come down to Maylandsea Bay S.C. to check us out for yourselves, there is always a friendly face about to chat to and show you around. Over and above the club programme, many of the Kayak, windsurf & open water swim members, use the club almost every day. For Kayaks the best time is about 2.5 hours before high tide & swimmers nearer to high tide. Check out our Flikr account to get a flavour of the club.

Joint Spring Dinghy Races 1 & 2
9 Dinghies braced a chilly start to the season in a light breeze but some good gusts at times. A long beat up Lawling creek to Steeple and back. 2 Kestrels made the running in both races Howie and Danni winning the 1st race and Chris and Kenny 2nd. There positions were reversed in the 2nd race. a good start to the season. Races 3 and 4 are on 30th March. More »

Work Party
